Rehman received, both, his Bachelors and Master’s degree from the University of California Berkeley, the highest ranked public university in the world. A proud FPS alumnus, his upbringing in Karachi kindled a desire to understand and help alleviate the widespread suffering that he saw in his country. This led him to pursue a Bachelors in Political Economy, and a subsequent Master’s in Economic Development as he spent his academic life the search for economic, political, and entrepreneurial remedies to alleviate the myriad challenges faced by the developing world. His Master’s thesis focused on Education in Pakistan, and now at FPS, he has the opportunity to put many of his cutting edge ideas into practice.
